As Greece welcomes the global maritime community for Posidonia 2026, LALIZAS opened the doors of its new headquarters on Monday June 1, to host the Ship Chandlers & Service Providers Summit 2026 – welcoming partners from around the world.
While LALIZAS has successfully hosted this event in the past, 2026 marked the first time it was held at its headquarters, the LALIZAS Port, bringing together guests from Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Greece, India, Ireland, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, United States, Venezuela, highlighting the truly international nature of the LALIZAS network.

Being a leading manufacturer of Life-Saving Appliances (LSA) and Fire-Fighting Equipment (FFE), LALIZAS is committed to providing products that comply with the highest international standards while ensuring their continued effectiveness throughout their service life.
This commitment is reinforced by LALIZAS network of ship chandlers and service providers, whose expertise in the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of safety equipment helps safeguard vessels and crews worldwide.
The Summit was full of insightful presentations by LALIZAS experts, leading to constructive conversations on safety products & services and future collaboration opportunities.
Attendees also had the opportunity to explore the new facilities and were also among the first to visit the new LALIZAS Museum, which showcases more than 40 years of the company’s journey, growth, and contribution to maritime safety, since its founding in 1982.

In addition, participants received a copy of the recently published book, From Ashes to Rebirth, which captures stories and defining moments that shaped LALIZAS, through the narration of Mr. Stavros Lalizas.
The Summit also marked a significant milestone for the LALIZAS Group: ATIVA NÁUTICA, Brazil’s leading lifejacket manufacturer, formalised a strategic partnership with ABFN (Associação Brasileira de Fornecedores e Serviços a Navios) – a step that reinforces LALIZAS commitment to building strong, lasting partnerships across key maritime markets worldwide.
