CAPABILITYInternational Registries, Inc. and its affiliates (IRI) provide administrative and technical support to the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Maritime and Corporate Registries. Recognizing the specialized needs of the shipping and financial services industries across a broad commercial and economic spectrum, the RMI Registry%u2019s fleet reached nearly 208 million quality gross tons with 6,211 vessels at the end of March 2026. As of 31 March 2026, the RMI fleet had 1,541 vessels weighing 67.1 million gross tons that are of Greek interest. That is 24.8% of the total vessels and 32.3% of the total gross tons of the RMI fleet. Piraeus, one of the largest offices in IRI%u2019s network of 28 worldwide offices, is a full-service office with the resources and capability to register a vessel, including those under construction; record a mortgage or financing charter; form a business entity; issue seafarer documentation; and provide fleet operations and technical support. The Piraeus office also includes members of the RMl%u2019s International Maritime Organization (IMO) delegation, ensuring that the voices of regional owners and operators of RMI-flagged vessels are heard at IMO meetings. The success of the RMI Registry is due to its highly qualified team members, often experts in their fields, with experience at sea and ashore, who focus on quality, service, and continual improvement.SUCCESS FACTORS1. Employees with professional backgrounds in law, finance, ship management, seafaring, marine engineering, naval architecture, port State authorities, and Classification Societies, among others, are resourced based on their expertise, experience, and industry outreach.2. IRI%u2019s ISO 9001:2015 certification ensures consistency among its network of 28 worldwide offices for registration and ongoing technical and operational support.3. Decentralized operations provide customers with 24-hour worldwide service.4. The RMI Maritime Administrator (the %u201cAdministrator%u201d) has authorized the major Classification Societies to act on its behalf, while maintaining its own technical team responsible for oversight of delegated functions, simplifying matters for owners/operators.5. The RMI maintains an excellent port State control (PSC) record and is the only of the world%u2019s three largest registries to achieve the United States Coast Guard%u2019s (USCG%u2019s) QUALSHIP 21 status for 21 consecutive years as of this period. The RMI anticipates 22 consecutive years upon publication of the USCG%u2019s 2025 Annual PSC Report. Furthermore, the RMI is also on the White Lists of both the Paris and Tokyo Memorandums of Understanding. This prestigious PSC record is achieved through the Registry%u2019s pre-registration vetting and assessment process, continuous monitoring of the fleet, and complimentary technical support to all RMI-flagged vessels.6. The RMl maintains an active delegation at the IMO. This delegation plays a role in shaping future regulations, allowing the RMl to proactively manage the implementation of new requirements and provide relevant advice to owners/operators and other industry stakeholders.7. The Administrator has experience with all major vessel types.CONTROLLING COSTSThe Administrator is very conscious of maintaining competitive fees and avoids duplication of costs by providing full authorization to the International Association of Classification Societies members acting on behalf of the RMI.Some cost benefits are as follows:1. the RMl does not restrict the nationality of seafarers serving on RMI-flagged vessels. This allows operators the flexibility to choose the most appropriate seafarers and officers;2. fees for seafarer documentation are competitive with the current market rates;3. a competitive tonnage tax which includes in-service support; and4. no hidden costs; all fees are available on our website at www.register-iri.com.Vasilis KamitsisRegional Technical ManagerSofia KouniaVice President, Vessel Registration& DocumentationTheodore Lalas Fleet Operations ManagerVangelis MoutafisSenior Manager, Management Systems CertificationThanos TheocharisSenior Manager, Regulatory AffairsStella VatistaSeafarers%u2019 Documentation Manager
