MAN Diesel & Turbo Hellas Ltd. opens a new PrimeServ Academy in Piraeus to offer a constant and direct knowledge transfer to its customers and the Greek Shipping and Marine Communities. The new Training Center will commence operation on 8 July 2013 with the official Inauguration having taken place on 27 June 2013, with the participation of Mr. Dimitris Vlantos, Dr. Stephan Timmermann – Executive Board Member MAN Diesel & Turbo Hellas S.E., Mr. Wayne Jones – Senior Vice President Business Unit After Sales, Mr. Takis Koutris – Chairman of Martecma and Mr. Georgios Poularas – COO of Enesel S.A.

The Academy will deliver technical training for all types of MAN engines and Turbochargers which is the key to success for the optimum and efficient operation of this equipment.

The local facilities is equipped with the necessary infrastructure (engines and equipment simulators, real parts samples, educational material, etc.) in order to provide seminars in line with the standards implemented in the twelve existing MAN PrimeServ Academies around the globe.
