Ionic Tankers Inc. recently took delivery of the “Ionic Semeli”, a Suezmax oil tanker
built at the JMU TSU Shipyard in Japan. Ιonic’s 19 vessel features innovative tech-
th
nologies that meet the highest energy efficiency and environmental compliance
standards. Notably, the company’s entire fleet, which consists of 8 tankers and
11 bulk carriers, has been built in Japan, demonstrating Ionic’s confidence in the
expertise of Japanese shipyards.
